•Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
•A relevant Library and Information Science qualification will be an advantage.
•Previous experience in a school library or library environment will be an advantage.
•Computer literate, including MS Word, Excel and email.
•Knowledge of library administration and the Dewey Decimal Classification System will be an advantage.
•Good organisational, administrative and communication skills.
•Ability to work effectively with primary school learners.
•A passion for reading, literacy and learner development.
