NOTICE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 24G
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 24G of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act 107 of 1998), for the rectification of unlawful commencement of listed activities undertaken in terms of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, GNR9832, of 2014 (as amended) The rectification relates to a diesel depot with a combined capacity of 900 cubic metres on Portion 2 of Erf 5000 Vortrekker Street, Ext 35, Emalahleni 1034 in the Mpumalanga province. The project is on the following GP coordinates: 2551`54.3″S 2913`10.1″E
In compliance with Chapter 6 of the EIA Regulations, a Public Participation Process will be undertaken to provide Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs) with an opportunity to register and comment on the application.
Interested and Affected Parties are invited to submit their names, contact details, and a description of their interest in the matter within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notice to be included in the stakeholder database and to receive further project information. The Background Information Document and registration form may be requested from the appointed Environmental Assessment Practitioner using the contact details provided below.
