NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT PROCESS
Notice is given of a Basic Assessment in terms of Chapter 6 of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (NEMA) 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), as amended and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014, of intent to carry out the following activity:
Project name: Clearing of indigenous vegetation related to the expansion of Elewana Lodge, on Portion 42 of the Farm Middlefontein 391 KR.
Project description: The owners of Portion 42 of the Farm Middlefontein 391 KR (Elewana House (Pty) Ltd), would like to develop additional accommodation in the form of chalets.
A total of seven (7) new chalets are proposed.
