NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE RENEWAL AND VARIATION OF THE APPROVED ATMOSPHERIC EMISSIONS LICENCE FOR RAYAL INDUSTRIAL (PTY) LTD, EKANDUSTRIA, SOUTH AFRICA IN TERMS OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: AIR QUALITY ACT
(ACT NO. 39 OF 2004) Notice is hereby given that Rayal Industrial (Pty) Ltd has submitted an application for the renewal of its Atmospheric Emission Licence (AEL) to the City of Tshwane in accordance with the provisions of Section 46 read with Section 47 of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 (NEM:AQA).

Activity: Rayal Industrial (Pty) Ltd operates a porcelain tile manufacturing facility and proposes to apply for a renewal and variation to its existing Approved Atmospheric Emission Licence (AEL) with the City of Tshwane Municipality. Rayal Industrial (Pty) Ltd has undergone process equipment changes that includes a second and third tile production line and therefore an application for an AEL renewal and variation is being proposed to include these changes.

The application for renewal and variation of the AEL is being made in terms of section 46, the minimum standards for listed activities as contemplated in section 21, and Consultative process contemplated in sections 56 and 57 of the National Environmental Management Air Quality Act (Act 39 of 2004) (NEMAQA).
