God’s “Little” Creatures – Common-mother of Pearl

Common Mother-of-Pearl butterfly is a large, beautiful, white butterfly.

Today I would like to share with you a beautiful butterfly that is commonly seen all around Durban at this time of the year.

Common Mother-of-Pearl butterfly is a large, beautiful, white butterfly. It has a flapping and swooping flight making it very catching to the eye.

I have also included a picture of it’s life cycle that I composed, I was fortunate enough to find a female laying eggs on the Bluff and managed to raise some of these beauties through to adulthood.

It is still amazing to me how God has created such an “ugly” Caterpillar to ultimately become a beautiful Butterfly.

“Take note of how, even the colours of the caterpillars change as they grow.”
