EDITOR – It concerns me from time to time when I drive around Montclair and Woodlands suburb, that there is litter everywhere.
What puzzles me is that sometimes I notice people with overalls on duty in groups but by the time you come back in the afternoon, the same paper is still lying around on the same spot.
When you drive around other suburbs like La Lucia and Kloof, you notice them cleaning and the area is spotlessly clean, with not a single paper on the road.
I would like to urge the person responsible for the Montclair/Woodlands area to inspect this.
We are also paying rates. We deserve the same services.
I would like to urge home owners to check the cleanliness of the verge, pavement and curb areas in front of their houses. Maybe this would also help keep our suburbs clean.
