Community heroes appreciated [LETTER]

That is why we choose to live here. They do not call us, “rough and tough and from the Bluff” for nothing.

EDITOR – Just a little note to say a big thank you to all the men and women, that came out to protect our community during those awful days.

I know how cold I was inside my home and how extremely cold those nights must have been.

I also want to thank Zoë Solomon for getting involved in everything and to our shops for not, inflating their prices of food and so on.

I also heard on the television of somebody calling us racist, but it was not so, because everyone came out to join forces for the community.

That is why we choose to live here. They do not call us, “rough and tough and from the Bluff” for nothing.

Thanks again.
