It was a quiet weekend due to the inclement but much-needed weather, the greens got a good dousing and hopefully this will speed up the re-opening of the A green.
This coming weekend is a double header as far as the PNB league is concerned when the penultimate and final rounds will be played.
The A side are sitting handy in second place at the moment and with two good performances at the weekend could earn themselves promotion.
Members and friends don’t forget it is the Tony Hoggins 3-2-1 killer on Friday, 4 October and June is making her superb curry so come and join us for a great morning of bowls followed by lunch.
The club wishes all on the sick list a speedy recovery especially our president Norman Robinson. It was nice to see Kate Richardson and Joyce Gillespie back on the greens again and hope they can now play a bit more.
