Paul’s team sparkles in twilight trips bowls
There were two women's drawn fours competition matches played on Saturday afternoon.

AFTER three rounds of the annual twilight trips at Bluff Bowling Club, Paul and Bridget White with Dave Le Roux remain unbeaten and top the ladder after they eked out an one shot victory over John Somerville’s side.
The other two previously unbeaten sides dropped points when they peeled their match, so with three rounds to go there is still quite a few permutations as to who will capture the main prize.
There were two women’s drawn fours competition matches played on Saturday afternoon. Results are as follows: Sarie Bisset’s team defeated Glynis Macrory’s team and June Foster’s side defeated that of Janice Rodgers.
On Sunday the PNB men’s and women’s trips competition commenced and the men’s team of Paul White, Dave Le Roux and Greg Dorrofield won their section and the women’s teams of Janice Rodgers, June Foster and Jay Retief together with Daphne Reinhardt, Sarie Bisset and Glynis Macrory also won their section. Well done to all.
The 3-2-1 killer is scheduled to take place on Friday morning, 7 February, so come along for a game of bowls followed by lunch.
