Scouts enjoy outing to Stainbank

CUBS of Yellowwood Park and Shallcross Scout groups enjoyed an outing to Stainbank Nature Reserve on Saturday, 8 February.

The outing was organised by Bindhu Singh of Shallcross Scout group, to attain her woodbadge. During the outing, cubs performed mini Stream Assessment Scoring System (SASS), whereby water samples are taken and the number of vertebrates in the sample are recorded.
