Woodlands goes down in bowls league
The club wishes Arthur Carlyle a speedy recovery from his stint in hospital last week.
WOODLANDS Bowling Club hosted the league on Saturday against Durban Bowling Club.
Both Woodlands teams lost their games.
On Wednesday it is the open pairs. To enter a team, call Linda Hewer on 082-724-6575 and on Thursday is the casual fours.

The meat draw was won by Keith Hughes, second was Cobus Janse van Vuuren and in third place was Derek Botha. Well done.
Arthur Brissett’s name was drawn for the Friday night snowball draw but due to him not being there, there is a carry-over to next Friday. The swindle raffle winners are Sandra Cox (three times), Cobus Janse van Vuuren and Maria Berry. Lyndon Smith (twice), John Campbell and Rob de Wildt.
