Hackers get into the golf prizes

HARLEQUINS Hackers winners of the golf competition on 18 May were:
A division, Harold Rittmuller won on a count out from Errol Groom.
In the B division, Michael Ware led the field while Larry Joubert won the C division and Ena Brasler was best among the women.
It was a calm day and the Hackers had a good field of 54 players, with the best score being a 58 by both James Dicker and Errol Groom.
Closest to pins were won by James Dicker, Michael Ware, Clive Williams, Mark Sonemann and Tony Moolman.
There were only three moves in the handicaps this week, with the best mover being Theunis O’Niell who moved up to the A division.
Since the beginning of the year Jules Teessen has moved from a 35 handicap to a 26 handicap, Michael Pretorius has moved from a 26 handicap to a 19 and Memory Randall has dropped from a 45 to a 33 handicap.
Well done to those who have dropped at each new handicap time, keep it up.
