Simonetti’s fourball does the job among YWP golfers

ON Sunday, 29 June saw the Yellowwood Park golfers gather at Scottburgh golf Club for their monthly game.

The weather was very kind and some good golf scores were recorded.

The format played was fourball betterball and the winners were: First place Riccardo Simonetti and Garth Hancock with a score of 44 points, second place (on a count out) was Kevin Lacey and Peter Lomax with a score of 40 points and in third place was Warren Lester and Neville Montague also a score of 40 points.

Nearest the pins on the shorts were Peter Lomax on the fifth and the 10th, with Reg Gerber getting closest on the 17th.
