Bluff duo steal show in singles competition
The draw for skip and lead went to Brian Osman and Kitty Schafer whilst the board and roast winners were Keith Wild and Lofty Cawthorne.

THE finals of the PNB singles competitions were played this past Sunday and Bluff Bowling Club’s Bridget White and Daphne Reinhardt stole the show when they won the open singles and the senior singles titles respectively.
Well done, you did yourselves and the club proud.
The Bell any pairs was also played on Sunday and Greg Dorrofield and Jorge Santos took the overall prize with a score of 4+26. In doing so, they knocked Jenny Greef and Marie Sadie off the perch and the jackpot now stands at R2,100.
The first session was won by Spider Williams and Mouse Ratcliffe on a 2+16 while Ken Thomas and Ronel Morel took the session also on a score of 3+16.
The board winners were Keith Wild and Kitty Schafer and Jorge Santos took home the meat raffle.
Eric and Honey Kitchenbrand won the Lilah Nel any pairs for June with a 4+18. Alex Fisher and Ken Thomas won the first session with a 2+7 while the second session was won by Lilah Nel and Glynis Macrory on a 2+10.
Lilah donated her prize back and a lucky draw was done for a skip and lead prize which were won by Rob De Goevia and Michael Schudel respectively. The board winner was Kurt Spack and the meat went to Jumbo Nel.
Dirk Venter and Eileen du Plessis won the Brian Osman any pairs for June on a 4+19 while Chris Klopper and Johan Nel won the first session on a 2+16. The second session was won by Dave Rowe and Janice Rodgers on a 2+11.
