Bok springs to club champ title among YWP golfers
Best net was Peter Lomax with 71 and the overall club champion for 2014/15 was Bok Cox.
ON Sunday, 3 August, 16 Yellowwood Park golfers competed for the club champion of the year.
Playing at the Toti Golf Club in beautiful weather conditions, there were numerous complaints from some of the ‘losers’ regarding the condition of the course itself, which proved to be unfounded.
Despite this, some very good golf was played throughout the three divisions.
The winners of the divisions were: A division Brian Martin Jnr with 32 points; B division Peter Lomax with 34 points; C division Bok Cox with 34 points.
Best net was Peter Lomax with 71 and the overall club champion for 2014/15 was Bok Cox.
Nearest the pins were fourth Andrew Duthie, seventh Rob Bellars, 15th Pierro Simonetti and 17th Warren Lester.
