Stainbank trail run challenges YWP athletes

YELLOWWOOD Park Athletics Club did not have its usual time trials at the YWP Sports Club this week, instead runners participated in a trail run in the reserve, followed by a braai.

YWP AC extends its hearty thanks to the Wilderness Leadership School for allowing them to use their excellent facilities to host a special and most appropriate Heritage Day time trial.

Participants clearly enjoyed the scenic and tranquil – yet rather challenging – course in the beautiful Ezemvelo Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve.

From Wednesday 8 October, time trials begin at 5.45pm instead of 5.30pm from Yellowwood Park Sports Club. All are welcome.
