Vets race hailed a success

Gratitude is extended to the management of the Fynnland Combined Sports Club for their support on the day.

BLUFF Athletics Club (BAC) has hailed the 48th running of the Bluff Vets 21.1km run and 15km run/walk on Sunday, 16 November as a resounding success.

Sincere thanks to the organising committee, sponsors Re/Max Advance, Machine Moving and Equipment, Blue Security and Spur, members of the South African Police Services, Metro Police as well as BAC members and families.

Gratitude is extended to the management of the Fynnland Combined Sports Club for their support on the day, as well as to all those who so generously donated prizes for the event.

To the heroes and heroines of the day – the runners and walkers – thank you very much for participating. Last but by no means least, to the residents of the Bluff, a huge thank you for accommodating the minimal disruption on the day. Among the participants on the day were Comrades Marathon winner, Tilda Tearle and seven time Comrades Marathon gold medalist, Booysie van Staden.
