Noel bags hat trick at Bluff BC
Robbie Johnston won the senior singles championship for the fifth time on Saturday afternoon when he defeated Tony Hoggins 21-9 to lift the title.

NOEL Morel won a hat trick of titles for the 2014 season at Bluff Bowling Club this past weekend.
His first title was won on Saturday afternoon when Gary Moffat, Dudley Dorrofield, Noel and Hilton Lassack defeated Robert Mhlongo, Eddie Human, Allen Ritchie and Michael Schudel to take the men's drawn fours title.
He then teamed up with June Foster to win the drawn mixed pairs title on Sunday morning when they defeated Sarie Bisset and Rob Davies. Noel completed the hat trick when, together with Robert Mhlongo, he won the men's nominated pairs when they defeated Allen Ritchie and Dave Rowe in the final on Sunday afternoon.

Those who are still in contention for other competitions should check the notice board for postings as club members will be playing a lot of the games next weekend as the annual prize giving is only two weeks away.
In the Brian Osman pairs, first session went to Chris Klopper and Johan Nel on a count out, with Tony Hoggins and Alex Fisher 2+9. In the second session Gary Moffat and Bob Hayward were at 2+16. Overall winners were Ken Koch and Colin Nicholas on 4+19. The meat raffle was won by Brian Osman, and the board draw by Allen Ritchie. Drawn prizes lead was June Foster, skip.
The next Brian Osman tournament will be on 18 December and turkeys will be in abundance.
