Bill’s team takes fours bowls at Woodlands

Don’t forget the hall and 'tabs room' are available for hire.

AS there were a few Woodlands Bowling Club members not feeling well on Saturday, only one men’s competition could be played.

A men’s fours competition was played between Arthur Carlyle, Brian Kimber and Bryce Bower (John Campbell was not available) against Bill Hewer, David Lloyd, Alan Bower and Dennis Holloway.

Bill and his team emerged the victors with a 26-16 win.

On Friday night, the 100 club was drawn with Karyn Wallace winning the R500. The snowball is another carry-over as Clint Walker was not there to grab the winnings. The meat draw was won by Shirley Tomlinson, Keith Hughes and Shannon Palmer. The lotto bonus ball was won by Dave Leuchars.

Don’t forget the hall and ‘tabs room’ are available for hire. For enquiries call Linda Hewer on 082-724-6575. Colin Dawson cooks up a storm on Friday nights for dinner.
