Bokka in the prizes at Wentworth BC
In the chicken run played on Sunday, 14 December, Terry Micholson and Herbie Roux caught the chickens and couple Hazel and Wayne Smith took second prize.

WENTWORTH Bowling Club had a quiet week with the following results.
In the family and friends fun bowls played on Wednesday, 10 December, first prize was taken by Bokka van der Westhuizen and Margaret Walters, while the sportsman’s prize went to Mike Jansen and Eilleen du Plessis.
The 60/40 board was won by Bokka van der Westhuizen twice and Anne Bonthrone won the Christmas cake raffle.
In the Bluff Meats men’s pensioners bowls played on Friday, 12 December, first prize was won by Norman Moore, Dave Matthews and Neil Smith with + 24, and second prize went to Dirk Venter, Allan Moor and Dave Lavis with + 11. The sportsman prize was taken by Colin Nicholas, Derek Stevens and Dave Vincent. The first 60/40 board was won by Tomcat Cavanagh and Smiler Wilesmith, while the second board went to Maria Cavanagh and Ron Jackson. The third board was won by lucky mates, Tomcat Cavanagh and Smiler Wilesmith. Robin De Gouveia is cooking the pork and Ken Koch the beef.

Tuesday, 16 December is the Boer vs Brit day, come and support this event. All welcome.
