YELLOWWOOD Park Badminton Club (YWPBC), which has been in existence since the early 70’s, urges all keen badminton players to reach for their racquets and head down to the YWP Civic Centre every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm.

A few founder members still play at the club today and there are several longstanding players who’ve been chasing the shuttles across the court over the years.

This friendly, social club hosts socials, fun tournaments and plays both social and league badminton. If you want a place to relax and at the same time, get some exercise and meet people, pop down and pay them a visit. Visitors pay R20 per night and for members, fees are currently R70 per month. It is advisable to take along your own racquet as the club does not have any to loan or rent.
