Mark, Martin lead 8km time trial relay through Stainbank

YELLOWWOOD Park Athletics Club’s month-end timetrial fixture for February was held near the castle in Stainbank Nature Reserve last week.

Teams of two each ran 1km laps in the tranquil surroundings of the park until 8km had been completed.

The weather was perfect and most runners stayed to enjoy a braai and month-end festivities at the castle. Spot-prizes were awarded to Mark and Martin, and to Steve and Sandra.

Results of the 8km team relay event:
