Woodlands men bow out of final league games with losses

NOT much happened at Woodlands Bowling Club this week.
Saturday was very quiet with the men playing their last league game against Westville and unfortunately both teams lost their games.
On Friday night the club meat draws were won by Lyndon Smith, Glen de Wildt and Stan McNamara. K Berkenshaw was not at the club to snatch the winnings of the snowball, so it’s another carry over.
Saturday swindle winners were George and Dawn Moore, Marie Berry, Andy Carstens, Carole Lauderdale, Peter and Bev Jenkins, Stan McNamara, Keith and Lorraine Jenkins, Roger Turner and H Dix (Dixie).
Join Woodlands BC on a Saturday afternoon if you are keen to learn or if you can play bowls. Be at the club at 1pm for 1.30pm and wear flat shoes. Bowls will be supplied if you don’t have.
