Any pairs perch changes hands at Bluff BC
On Friday, 7 August is the mens 3-2-1 Killer sponsored by Eddie Human and June Foster.

FRIDAY night’s fruit and vegetable derby was a great success at Bluff Bowling Club, especially for the women who took most of the money.
The competitions played on Saturday, 1 August were the women’s nominated pairs and two men’s competitions.
In the women’s nominated pairs, Lilah Nel and Ronel Morel beat June Foster and Phyllis Maritz.
In the men’s nominated pairs Dudley Dorrofield and Dave Lavis beat Dave le Roux and Spider Williams and in the mixed drawn trips Robert Mhlongo, Kurt Spack and Jay Retief beat Janice Rodgers, Steve Baker and Wayne Tonkin.
On Sunday there was a full house of 28 teams for the Acutts any pairs. Robert Mhlongo and Noel Morel, who were on the perch, had their legs cut off by Elize Stapelberg and Jay Retief who won with a 4+31, so they are the ones to beat next month. First session went to Terrance Mc Glynn and Paul White on 2+19 and the second session was won by Keith Wild and Eric Miller on 2+18. The board was won by Michael Schudel and the meat by Mouse Ratcliffe.
On Friday, 7 August is the men’s 3-2-1 killer sponsored by Eddie Human and June Foster.
On Saturday there are two men’s competitions being played and the game that was posted for Sunday, the men’s drawn fours, has been postponed. The A green will be closed on 10 August. DJ Lashrite and the Zutek will only be able to host 14 sides, so let Gary Moffat know if you will be playing as the first 14 teams will get a game.
Thoughts are with Deon Maritz who was rushed to hospital on Saturday night. The club wishes him a speedy recovery.
