Bluff BC’s Bisset bows out of quarter finals
On Thursday, 20 August is the Zutek any pairs where two greens will be available.

THERE were no competitions played at Bluff Bowling Club this weekend due to the 2015 KZN singles championships being played at various clubs.
Bluff BC had three sections of women playing on a round robin format of three games.
The winners were section 16 Shirley Cohen on 3+13 from Parkhill. Section 17 was Jane Coetzee from Amanzimtoti on 3+13 and section 18 was Heather Phelan from Pietermaritzburg Collegians on 3+19. Bluff’s Sarie Bisset made the quarter finals and unfortunately lost 21-20. Well done Sarie.
On Sunday, the DJ Lashrite any pairs was held. Overall winners were Eddie Human, Deon Maritz / Hilton Lassak on 4+15, first session went to father and son pair of Greg and Dudley Dorrofield after a count out with Lilah Nel and Ronel Morel both on 2 +7,
Second session was won by Gary Moffat and Luvuyo Ndava on 2+12. The board was won by the ever-lucky Kurt Spack and the meat by Eddie Human.
On Thursday, 20 August is the Zutek any pairs where two greens will be available. The club can thus accommodate 24 teams. On Saturday, 22 August there are a number of women’s competitions posted as well as men’s nominated pairs. Gary Moffat and Jorge Santos plays Wayne Tonkin and Roger Scott in the men’s drawn fours. Clinton Bisset, Norman Robinson, Rob Davies and Deon Els play Robert Mhlongo, Alex Fisher (who will have to be replaced as he has moved down the coast), Noel Morel and Harvey Simpkin, Dave Le Roux, Dudley Dorrofield, Steve Baker and Michael Schudel take on Eddie Human, Brian Osman Allan Moor and AN Other.
On Sunday, 23 August the following games are posted. Mixed nominated pairs, Robert Mhlongo and Glynis Mackrory against Deon Els and Phylis Maritz, Dave Le Roux and Bridget White against Spider Williams and Jay Retief, Clinton and Sarie Bisset against Gary Moffat and Lilah Nel, Eddie Human and Chrissy Smith against Janice Rodgers and partner.
It is with deep sadness that Bluff BC reports on the death of June Foster’s mother, as well as a senior club member, Kate Richardson who was responsible for many improvements at the club from all the money raised through her line dancing classes. Deepest sympathies go to both families in their time of grief.
