Orange blossoms and nature await for hikers
On Sunday, 6 September hikers will explore Faulklands (Orange blossom hike).

DURBAN Ramblers Hiking Club’s Saturday and Sunday hiking programme for this coming weekend.
On Saturday, 5 September members will take a hike to Silverglen Nature Reserve in Chatsworth.

This is a new Saturday hike. Hikers will meet at 1.45pm at the visitors centre at the reserve.
Travel on the N2 south from Durban towards Amanzimtoti. Take the Chatsworth or Higginson Highway off-ramp (exit 154) and turn right.
Travel west on Higginson Highway for about 2km, then turn left into Havenside Drive. Turn left again into Silverglen Drive, left again into Headland Avenue, keeping right into Mountain View Drive. Turn left into Montdene Drive, left into road 702, and left again into road 703. Turn left into Lakeview Drive and travel along this road to the reserve entrance.
This hike is graded two, moderate.
On Sunday, 6 September hikers will explore Faulklands (Orange blossom hike). Call hike leader Francois Marais on 083-983-8007. Meet at 8.15am at the junction of Wartburg Road (M30) and Table Mountain Road (right turn which is clearly signposted) for an 8.30am departure. Hike down to Umgeni River and back up again for wonderful views.
This 16km hike is graded three moderate.
