Bluff BC teams advance in PN pairs
In the drawn fours, there was one mixed trips competition played.

THE Port Natal nominated pairs was continued from last weekend, with the Bluff Bowling Club women teams having mixed results.
Elize Stapelberg and Jay Retief as well as Lilah Nel and Ronel Morel won through to the last 16, while Bridget White and Glynis Mackrory had to good wins to put them in the semi-finals to be played next Sunday.
The club wishes them good bowling. The only men’s team left after the section play-offs was Clinton Bisset and Deon Maritz who got through to the last eight.
In club competitions played on Saturday, Lilah Nel beat Ronel Morel in the point singles, in the drawn pairs Elize Stapelberg and Jay Retief beat June Foster and Paula Osman and in the men’s competition, Dave Rowe, Jorge Santos, Kurt Spack and Mouse Ratcliffe beat Dave Leroux, Dudley Dorrofield, Steve Baker and Michael Schudel.
In the drawn fours, there was one mixed trips competition played. Eddie Human, Noel Morel and Patricia Buys beat Gary Moffat, Brian Osman and Kitty Schaefer.
Competitions posted for Saturday 19 September are the mixed drawn fours final where Dave Le Roux, Bridget White, Ronel Morel and Allan Moor play Daphne Reinhardt, Spider Williams, Brian Osman and a player from bank; and in the mixed nominated pairs Clinton and Sarie Bisset play Dawn and Kurt Spack.
On Thursday, 17 September there is the monthly Zutek any pairs starting at 9am and on Sunday, 20 September the DJ Lashrite any pairs competition will be played, also starting at 9am. Eddie Human and Deon Maritz are on the perch so they are the team to beat.
