Umzinto outing for Ramblers hikers
Meet at 7.30am outside Glenwood Village Shopping Centre (old Buxtons Centre) in Che Guevara Road (formerly Moore Road), or meet at the reserve office at 8.30am.
ON Saturday, 26 September, Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will visit Delville Wood in Shongweni.

Meet at the Assagay Hotel, Kassier Road, Hillcrest at 1.30pm, to drive through at 1.45pm to the parking area. The hike will take members through tunnels and waterfalls and it is a bit strenuous at the end. It is graded three, moderate to strenuous.
On Sunday, 27 September, hikers will enjoy an outing to Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve in Umzinto.

The reserve has open grassland, parkland and forest with opportunity to see game. The reserve turn-off is about 3km past the town of Umzinto, 12.5km from the freeway and the entrance gate is 6km from the turn-off. Suggested petrol sharing cost is R50. The hike is graded 2/3, moderate over a distance of about 15kms.
