Bluff bowlers to compete in 2016 KZN quadrangular tourney
The club congratulates Gary Moffat and Robert Mhlongo on being selected to play for Port Natal in the 2016 KZN quadrangular tournament.

RESULTS of competitions played at Bluff Bowling Club this weekend.
In the finals of the women’s drawn pairs Sarie Bisset and Deidre Koekemoer beat Elize Stapelberg and Chrissie Smith.
In the men’s drawn pairs final, Clinton Bisset, Hilton Lassak and Kurt Spack beat Dave Rowe, Jorge Santos an Ivor Aylward and in the last game of the day Dave Le Roux and Bridget White beat Lilah Nel and Harvey Simpkin in the mixed drawn pairs.
Sunday saw the Acutts any pairs sponsored by Craig Bell, where 28 sides participated – the largest number of entries received this year.
Overall winners from Wanderers were Terrance McGlynn and Paul White. First session went to a Wentworth side of Livuyo Ndava And Eric Miller. Second session was won by a local team of Glynis Mackrory and Phyllis Maritz, while the meat was won by Mouse Ratcliffe and the board by Louisa McGlynn.
On Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 November, the women hold their annual Warwick women’s tournament and the club thanks new boys on the block Hearing Aid Laboratories, Classic Jewellers and Mica Hardware, all from Bluff Hillside Mall, for their generous sponsorship. There are 20 sides entered from all over Durban and the men are going to spoil them this weekend.
On Saturday, 14 November the following women’s competitions are posted: Starting at 12.30pm, Bridget White plays Elize Stapelberg; at 2pm, Lilah Nel plays Deidre Koekemoer and the winner of Bridget and Elize play Glynis Mackrory at about 3.30pm, as in between the finals of the mixed drawn fours are to be completed between Daphne Reinhardt, Spider Williams, Brian Osman and Jay Retief against Dave Le Roux, Bridget White, Ronel Morel and Patricia Buys.
