Vets half marathon marks Bluff AC half century

BLUFF Athletics Club celebrated its 50th anniversary with the running of the 48th Bluff Vets half marathon and 15km walk on Sunday, 15 November.

Athletes from across the province participated in near perfect running conditions.

Club management extends its sincere gratitude to the residents of the Bluff, Merebank and Wentworth for their patience on the day.

A special word of thanks and appreciation to all sponsors who so generously came on board amid difficult economic times, as well as to all committee members, volunteers and auxiliary personnel for making the event the success it was.
