Hikers wander through rail, nature reserves

Meet at the main parking area inside the reserve at 8am. Take a left turn after entering, then follow the track on the right.

DURBAN Ramblers Hiking Club will lead a hike throught the rail reserve in Hillcrest on Saturday, 13 February.

Hikers are to meet at the Station Master Arms at 4 Inanda Road at 1.45pm for a walk along the rail reserve via St Heliers Dam. There will be one long uphill. There will be drinks afterwards at the Station Masters Arms. This 10km hike is graded two, moderate.

On Sunday, 14 February hikers will wander through Stainbank Nature Reserve in Yellowwood Park.

Entrance fee is R20 and the hike is graded two to three, and covers a distance of about 12kms.
