Richard and Steve progress to fourth round of PN men’s pairs

IN the start of the Port Natal men’s pairs sponsored by Durban Wanderers Bowling Club, Steve van Rooyen and Richard Hendicott won their section, but the other pairs that entered were not so lucky.

This weekend sees rounds four take place on Saturday at 1pm). On Sunday at 8.30am, rounds five and six continue, so go and show your support.

The Thumpers had their annual Spring jol on Saturday, where a great day was had by all. Thanks to all for the support and special thanks to those who assisted with the pre-event organisation.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Sagie, beef – Lofty, pork roast – Brian Craig, rump – Tommy Simpkins, chicken pack – Chris Fourie, chicken – Dianne and Clive.

The R1,200 snowball was a carry-over as Dave Matthews was not in attendance. The Friday lotto of R700 was a carry-over, and the joker draw was another carry-over as Richard and Anthony could not locate the joker. The pool is now in the region of R16,500.
