Experts on hand at Botsoc plant fair
Displays of flora, fauna and conservation will inspire you to a greener lifestyle.
THE biggest plant fair in KZN, the Botanical Society KZN coastal branch plant fair in partnership with the City’s Sustainable Living Exhibition, is a free fun day out for the family.
The fair is on at the Durban Exhibition Centre from Friday to Sunday, 19 to 21 August from 9am to 5pm. There is free entry. Beautiful indigenous plants will be on sale and the affordable BotSoc 2016 Indigenous Gardening Handbook will be available with excellent advice and ideas for KZN’s challenging climate.
Trawl your trolley along rows of specially selected plants and store them in allocated bays for drive-in collection later. Experts will be on hand to assist. Engage with authors of books and websites on trees, birds, flowers and butterflies. Visit the Sustainable Living Exhibition in the hall where displays of flora, fauna and conservation will inspire you to a greener lifestyle.
Food and drinks will be available on sale.
