Benefits of inviting expectant dads to baby showers
Some people feel that including the father-to-be is more appropriate in our equal-opportunity world.
Baby showers have traditionally been women’s territory where the mother-to-be is showered with gifts for her newborn baby. They are usually planned for four to six weeks before the due date or even a shower a few weeks after the baby’s birth.

The old-fashioned shower was usually made up of women who play cute little games with nice snacks, desserts, punch and presents. However, trends have changed significantly in recent years.
Some people feel that including the father-to-be will not only be beneficial in preparing him as a parent but also get the chance to join in on the excitement of celebrating the arrival of his bundle of joy too. Hence some feel that a couple’s party is more appropriate in our equal-opportunity world.

You need to decide whether you want that traditional “female-bonding ritual” or whether you’re looking for a more coed experience. Also, consider the personality of the dad-to-be, he may just want some may relish sharing in every aspect of the pregnancy.
