Super Stars Educare learners shine on career day

The learners at Super Stars Educare and Aftercare ditched their school uniforms to step into their future careers.

SUPER Stars Educare and Aftercare turned dreams into real life when the school hosted its inspiring career day event on October 1. The day aimed to encourage the children to dream of their future passions and help them believe they can achieve it.

The young learners arrived proudly dressed as their future selves. From doctors and teachers to chefs and astronauts, engineers to police officers and more, each learner thought creatively about their future.

The highlight of the day was a visit from two guest speakers. The first guest, the Amanzimtoti Fire Department, mesmerised the children with a live demonstration of their career and showcased the skills that go into firefighting.

The second guest was Nishana Munien, a caregiver from Mediskills Healthcare Academy, who shared her personal story in the healthcare field and explained that taking care of others is one of the most fulfilling careers a person can pursue.

As much as dressing up was a highlight of the programme, the stories and skills shared were more meaningful.

For these young Super Stars, the sky is not the limit.
