Kliptown police are investigating a murder after the body of an unknown man was found in an open field in Pimville Zone 7, Soweto, on Sunday, July 12.

The deceased, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, was found covered with a black nylon bag and had sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

Constable Dakalo Phemula confirmed that the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown and remain under investigation.
