Leaders describe who Tata was
Councillors, local residents and God’s servants share messages of support for Madiba family.

Former State President Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, a man regarded to as a legend, a fighter, a hero, a global icon and a liberator died at his home in Houghton, Johannesburg last Thursday.
Mandela who spent 27 years in prison was born July 18, 1918 in Mvezo, Transkei.
He became South Africa’s first black president in 1994.
As a result, many people in the country are mourning his death.
Councillors, local residents and God’s servants decided to share their messages of support in public.
Democratic Alliance’s Shadow MMC for Community Development, councillor Nonhlanhla Sifumba offers her condolences to the family of former president Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
Sifumba said this is a grieving moment for the country and other parts of the world.
“I am deeply saddened by the heart-breaking news and honestly I did not sleep thinking about it.
She said, “I cried almost for the whole night after I had heard about the news.
“I hope the country will continue to carry through the Madiba legacy in unity and reconciliation,” said Sifumba.
Offering his condolences, pastor Richman Khosa of The Glory of God Ministries said former president Nelson Mandela has entirely played his part in fighting for freedom for people in South Africa during apartheid.
Khosa said” It is about time we let him rest and may his soul rest in peace.
Councillor of ward 48, Jackie Lekgetho Tata sacrificed his life for the freedom that we have today.
Lekgetho said he played a huge role as a leader and that people will always be grateful for his contribution to this country.
Miss Soweto’s 1st Princess 2013 and former Miss Teen Joburg, 19-year-old Tsakane Mangwane who was born into democracy said she is saddened by the loss of a greatest leader.
“I thank him for diversifying South Africa and bringing unity to once be a divided country.
She said” He was an inspiration not only to South Africans but the world.
“May your soul find peace as you have fulfilled your destiny on earth,” said Mangwane.
