Holiday programme keeps youth busy

Children were kept busy at a holiday programme during the first week of holidays.

Life Vision Church held a holiday programme in Klipspruit West last week where over 180 children attended.

The daily programme kicked off with praise and worship followed by an ice-breaker before children were divided into groups.

“The idea is to keep children busy and impact them with positive values.

“We believe that if we catch children at a young age they will have a positive outlook on life,” pastor Fabian Steyn said.

This first holiday programme was a trial run for the church and Steyn says they hope to continue to have it with every school holiday.

Some of the activities were paintball shooting, bike riding and a soccer tournament.
