JMPD recovers hijacked vehicle in Moroka
Authorities are continuing investigations into the hijacking, and no arrests have been reported at this time.

Quick action by the JMPD Tactical Response Unit (TRU) led to the successful recovery of a hijacked vehicle in Soweto.
Officers received a complaint about a White Nissan NP200 light delivery vehicle that had been hijacked in Jabulani, Soweto. Acting swiftly, the team conducted a search operation across the area to locate the stolen vehicle.

The intensive search led the officers to Kolisang Street in Moroka North, where the vehicle was found abandoned. Following standard protocol, the recovered vehicle was immediately secured and transported to the Lenasia SAPS pound for further investigation.
Authorities are continuing investigations into the hijacking, and no arrests have been reported at this time.
The JMPD has commended the TRU officers for their prompt and efficient response, urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
