Gauteng Hawks appeal for leads in murder investigation
The South African Police Service's (SAPS) Hawks in Gauteng are appealing for information following the murders of Peter Jaggers and William Raymond Petersen, whose bodies were found in a Free State river in October 2024.
The Hawks in Gauteng are urging anyone with information to assist in their investigation into the murders of Peter Jaggers and William Raymond Petersen.
According to the South African Police Service (SAPS), the two men were reported missing in July 2024 after arriving at OR Tambo International Airport from Cape Town.
Following their arrival, it is believed they checked in at a nearby hotel and were later collected by an unknown man driving a grey Mercedes-Benz.

Their bodies were discovered in a river in the Free State in October 2024. The case has since been transferred to the Hawks in Gauteng.
Authorities are seeking information on a person of interest, last seen with Jaggers and Petersen before their disappearance.
