Armed robbers target Pimville’s Musi High School, community outraged

A late-night robbery at Musi High School in Pimville has left the community stunned after armed robbers overpowered guards, locked them in a room, and stole laptops, uniforms, and food. Police are appealing for information.

A robbery at Musi High School in Pimville has left the school and community in shock, and the guards shaken.
It is alleged that the incident took place on September 8 at around 11pm.

Leader of the GPAC community patrollers, Samuel Ndlovu, said his colleagues called him around 2am, to innform him of the robbery. Startled, the two guards shared that the robbers held them at gunpoint.

The robbers gained access to the room that stores food provided to the children during lunch and stole some items.

They said they were terrified as the robbers locked them in a room, not knowing what was going to happen.

The robbers took three laptops, one computer, food, and school uniforms. They broke into the safe, but found no money.

“This leaves the community in danger. Why do criminals target places that positively impact and empower our youth? This has left us stunned and shocked,’’ said Ndlovu.

A case has been opened at Kliptown Police Station. Community members and anyone with information are requested to provide the police with more information.

The safe was broken into. There was no money, while three laptops and one computer were stolen.
