Remaining three suspects arrested in Westbury double murder case

Gauteng’s Anti-Gang Unit has arrested the final three suspects linked to the Westbury double murder and multiple attempted murder charges, completing the initial round of arrests in the high-profile case.

The Anti-Gang Unit in Gauteng has arrested the remaining three suspects linked to the Westbury double murder and five counts of attempted murder, which occurred on November 4.

The suspects were handed over to the police by their parents and legal representatives. In accordance with the Child Justice Act, the 17-year-old has been placed in a place of safety, while the 19-year-old and 20-year-old remain in police custody.

The trio appeared alongside the first two suspects before the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on November 6.
