Lebotse murder accused appears in court
During the last appearance, the accused requested bail, which was denied.
The suspect accused of murdering Boitumelo Lebotse made a brief appearance in the Orlando Magistrate’s Court on January 19.
This court appearance followed the suspect’s previous hearing, where he was denied bail due to the absence of his legal representative.
Lebotse was brutally stabbed to death, allegedly by the suspect, who is believed to be her ex-boyfriend and reportedly struggled to accept the end of their relationship.

When asked about his failure to appear in court, the legal representative claimed his car broke down; however, he did arrive at a later time.
The victim’s family expressed their frustration with the constant postponements of the case, stating that these delays are hindering their healing process.
The case has been adjourned until February 23 for further investigations.
