258 crime wardens join Eldorado Park police to fight crime and provide safety

The management of Eldorado Park SAPS has congratulated and welcomed the third cohort of Gauteng Crime Prevention Wardens, whose pass out parade was held last week in the various SANDF camps.
Eldorado Park SAPS has been blessed with 258 wardens who will support law enforcement officials in their crime fighting duties in the area.
The deployment is based on the Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi’s elevated priority plan of fighting crime in the province and the mandate of ensuring that communities feel safe.

“Posted with crime prevention, these Crime Prevention Wardens deployed at our station will assist the police by monitoring crime hot spots, assist in the Client Service Centre as well as patrolling in the Greater Eldorado Park area,” said Station Commander for Eldorado Park SAPS, Brigadier Mkhacani Maluleke.
The Eldorado Park Station Commander welcomed all the wardens with open arms and reiterated the importance of following procedure and working in unison with other law enforcement agencies to combat crime.
