Dobsonville police launch a manhunt after murder and robbery

Dobsonville police have launched a manhunt for six suspects that robbed a store and killed a 24-year-old male in Dobsonville Extension three.

The incident happened at Usave over the weekend. It is alleged by the victims that six males entered Usave grocery store and pulled out firearms and in the process demanded money.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Vusi Thokwan said the suspects opened the store tills and took undisclosed amount money.

“During the robbery customers were also robbed, however one of the customers refused to be searched and was shot by one of the suspects.

“All role players were contacted, the preliminary investigation took place and the male was declared dead by the paramedics,” said Constable Thokwan.

Constable Thokwan further stated that the police are following possible leads and photos of the suspects will be circulated.
