Eldorado family searches for their brother missing since June 1
They appeal to the public to provide any information that may lead to Dass’ safe return.
The Dass family from Sand Street, in Old Eldorado Park is urgently seeking assistance in locating their missing brother, Brutus Dass (58), who has been unaccounted for since June 1, 2024.
According to his sister, Myrtle Bond, Dass’ stepdaughter last seen him leaving the family home on Sand Street at midnight. He was wearing a pink striped shirt and black pants.

Bond expressed concern and frustration about the conflicting accounts surrounding her brother’s disappearance.
“There are varying stories, and we struggle to get to the truth. Some claim Dass argued with his stepdaughter’s brother and a neighbour, while others say the stepdaughter and her boyfriend had a disagreement with him,” said Bond.
She further noted it was difficult to unveil the truth because the police did not visit the home to investigate the case.
Dass’ family is worried, as his disappearance is out of character.
“He would never stay away from us for more than a week without contacting us. Even if he didn’t stay with me, he would always ask someone to call my niece to let us know he is fine,” Bond explained.
