Khobo said upon apprehension, a search revealed a firearm with a magazine on the suspect’s hip.
“The suspect failed to produce a license for the firearm, leading to his arrest and detention at Eldorado Park SAPS.
Further investigation revealed that the firearm had been reported stolen in Lenasia, with the owner deceased since 2020.”
The Eldorado Park SAPS Station Commander, Brigadier Maluleke said sector managers, social crime prevention, wardens, and patrollers work together to address all crimes, including those in schools.
