Gogo Maweni granted bail at Protea Magistrate’s Court for assault charges
The popular traditional healer and social media sensation was granted R5, 000 bail.
Popular traditional healer Makhotso Lee-Anne Mofokeng, popular known as Gogo Maweni has been granted R5, 000 bail.
Maweni appeared at the Protea Magistrate’s Court on Monday, January 27 for her bail application.

She was arrested on January 19, following a tracing operation for 2019 alleged assaults with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, the traditional healer was taken into custody at Mondeor Police Station.
Her first appearance was at Protea Magistrate’s Court on January 20.
The matter has been postponed to February 11 for disclosure of the content of the dockets.
