Gauteng boy (11) drowns in a water-filled hole left by illegal miners

The boy failed to get out, prompting his friends to seek help.

“The matter was reported to the police divers, who responded swiftly and retrieved the body. The 11-year-old was certified dead by paramedics,” said Masondo.

Benoni SAPS is investigating an inquest docket.
