According to Life Seniors’ programme organiser Deborah Morris, they have seen significant improvements in the lives of the elderly since being part of the programme -their health, activity and ability to think outside of the box when participating in activities.
Through this initiative, seniors can engage in programmes that include gardening, reading and physical activities that help them stay active.
Sisterhood Foundation SA member Alley McPherson emphasised the importance of this initiative, “Often, elderly people are forgotten. Most stay on their own, while others are in old-age homes.
“With this programme, spread love and remind them that they are not alone and help them get out of their shells by being among others and engaging in activities that strengthen their mental and physical well-being,” she said.

Elderly Jacqueline Dick expressed her gratitude, “I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the programme.
“It has motivated me and allowed me to be myself.
“One important lesson I learnt from today’s movie is that God is faithful and will forever perform miracles in our lives. We just need to put our trust in Him.”
